Taylor, listen to these old fellas', they know what they're talking about. Scrap your GT engine idea. You're just looking for trouble, and it will take you longer than that long President's day weekend. Seriously take a look at the hahn or whipple kit. That's gonna be a lot of money, discount or not. Start looking at more reasonable mods, such as underdrive pulley, new cams, new rods, new pistons, a short ram intake, etc. It doesn't just have to be engine stuff too, take a look at springs, brakes, sway bars, or new shocks. It's your money, and it's your hard labor, but just think about the world of s%$# you'd be in if you couldn't get something to run right with that new GT engine.
