180-Horsepower Turbo Engine Enters the 2004 PT Cruiser Line-up
The Chrysler PT Cruiser delivers yet another powerful punch with an all-new 180-horsepower turbocharged engine option.
Proving there's a PT Cruiser for everyone, the latest 180-horsepower turbo adds another customized choice that's perfect for those wanting something in between the naturally aspired 150-horsepower 2.4-liter engine, and the full 220-horsepower High Output PT Turbo performance package.
Available on the Touring Edition and Limited Edition models, the new addition to the 2004 PT Cruiser engine family delivers 210 lb.-ft. of torque via a four-speed automatic transaxle. What's more? A uniquely styled lower and larger front fascia opening, 2.4L Turbo liftgate badge, and new 16-inch chrome clad aluminum wheels set the 180-horsepower -equipped models apart from others in the 2004 PT Cruiser line-up.
"The new 180-horsepower engine option continues the PT Cruiser's reputation as the coolest, most unique car available at a great value," said Tom Marinelli, Vice President - Chrysler Brand.
