I know this is an old post but I need to clear my conscious. [8]
I should know better than to question you guys. I was skeptical so i did this on my other car that has 246,000 miles on it. I ran one wire to the fender&firewall. Then one to the valve cover and coil/head. All I can say is WOW [?] First start was like a new car, well ok not new but a different car. It would usually start sluggish and idle rough no matter what time of year. The day I did this it was freezing out and it turned over much quicker. It still idled rough for a min or so then smoothed out. When you have a car with this many miles, you know when it has gained a little get~up~n~go. I couldn't believe how bright ALL the lights were. Now the inside turnsignal lights don't dim every every time they flash [?] I think I'll add a wire to the alternator or starter grounds, whichever is EZest. The factory wire from the - post to the tranny & fender were already bigger than the 8ga i used, so i left them alone. So , thanks guys for the info and tips and please forgive me? I would bow down but there is no smiley for that [B)] Now, on to the PT! [?]
