Default How to remove clearcoat scratches?
OK, I had the deep scratch on my car re-painted about a month ago.The scratch was sanded, primed and painted, then the whole panel was clearcoated. After that, the imperfections were sanded with 1400 or 1500 grit sandpaper, and then the whole panel was buffed. I found afterwards that we had missed buffing a couple of small spots where we had sanded.
What I want to know is what do I use to correctly remove these scratches? I know I am not supposed to wax the repained panel for a period of time (how long anyway?), so what should I use here?
