Once you get the front end up in the air you will see it on the passenger side of the bottom of the engine.

I agree that you should have someone help you the first time. Make sure that the rubber gasket come off with the old filter. I have had them stick to the engine block and it is not a good thing put the new filter on top of that. Be sure to put a thin film of oil on the new rubber gasket. Do not overtighten the new filter. Hand tight is fine. You don't want to distort the new rubber seal.

Buy a shop manual at the auto parts store. You can learn a lot about your car just by reading through it
