I actually made a mod! Yes, I did it. Ok, I admit it, I am......not tall. Now in my tall shoes I am, but my arm does not fit comfortably on the armrest. Getting the wide one wouldn't work because it still isn't tall enough. So, I got a padded neck rest from Wally world for a few bucks, and it had a velcroe strap, but it was a pain to keep it on without sliding around. Sooooo.... hmmmm, I thought. Maybe making a little pillowcase for it out of stretchy fabric and sliding it on wth that, to keep it in place, would work? Then, ahha! I thought. Pantyhose! I got an old pair and slid one leg over the padded neck rest, until it was all the way to the toe, snug fit. I cut off the leg then with about eight inches of extra fabric or so, slipped it firmly on the armrest and wow! It worked perfectly! It gives me a nice padded taller armrest, the pantyhose even blended with the dark taupe almost perfectly, and it doesn't even look as tacky as it did anymore. It looks rather nice, actually, if I do say so myself. Especially for something I made. So, if you want a more comfortable and taller armrest, try it- you might like it!
