You already have a BOV in a way, when you lift the solenoid ports vacuum on the diaphragm on the turbo and it releases the presure into your air box. Hence it is quiet. THe bov is simply a plate with passage ways machined in it which bolts to the turbo.It release the pressure to atmosphere instead of your air box. Hence more noise
I think you are the type who would like it, my wife drives our PT and enjoys the whissssh when she hammers it and lifts on the throttle.
