The following post recently appeared on the [u]PTCC Forum</u> and should be of interest to Cruiser owners who make modifications to their cars:
Hello,
My name is Risse Zimmerman and my husband and I are the owners of Performance Trenz in Wichita. Yesterday my husband and I received a call from our Farm Bureau Insurance Company tell us that the Underwriters had dropped our insurance on our cars for the following reasons: I AM NOT KIDDING
1) We have NOS Systems in our cars
2) We show our DAILY DRIVERS at car show
3) We have graphics on our cars
So what they were telling us we could not add anything to our car for any reason.
We cant even meet with other fellow (same as) car owners. That would be viewed as a car show
What makes me mad, the adjuster that told on us, on his own free will, attended a PT Cruiser event that we put on.
We contacted the Kansas Insurance Commissioner. The person we talk to said that there was NOTHING in the LAW about NOS Systems.
SO BEWARE
Pass this on
Post this on all the forums that you know of. This is bull and should be stopped.
Risse

Wonder if I should be concerned
that my insurance may be cancelled because the painted-flames on my GT "might cause a car fire"?!!!
