Once again, thanks to all - I'm not a particularly aggressive driver - mainly wanted something I feel more comfortable with - just don't like the GY LS. Down here in Bama we don't see much snow, but do want something that handles on wet/dry & resistant to hydroplaning. We do have some roads that weren't particularly well engineered & standing water/slow drainage can be a problem.

Accordingly, I'd pretty much narrowed it down the the Michelin HydroEdge or the Good Year TripleTred. The tread profile is very, very similar, & the TripleTreds were a little less expensive, so I ordered a set - $511 balanced, mounted, with free repair/balancing for life of tire. With a UTQG of 740 (80,000 miles, so they say), they should last a while...

Next it's finding new shoes for the Caddie CTS...[:0]
