I have the goodyear tripletreds . . . . and i am very, very pleased with them. First thing i noticed is that they are quiet - almost to the point of being scary - i don't need to jack up my stereo to the point of going deaf on the highway. On dry pavement, these tires are freakin sticky! all the vibrations and wobbling sensations that the PT had with the Eagle LS, just disapeared! I can finally take turns at a good clip without the car rocking back and forth afterwards. Wet traction in slush and water has been exellent too. Tire's design seem to throw water, snow and slush backwards and out of the wheelwells. snow traction is great, tires just bite into the white crap (and there are winters when MA gets socked with it bigtime!).
there are a few drawbacks. tires are very stiff. they are slightly harsher when encountering bumps or dips in the road, then the eagle ls is (but you really have to wack 'em hard to make it feel bone jarring). but i know some people don't like the stiffer ride.
