I would recommend only using the MoPar ATF+4 and ATF+5 if Chrysler recommends it for your particular transmission. I would not use the valvoline Max Life, it is a best guess to the ATF+4 and no where have I seen where "Chrysler" recommends this as an alternative. I would recommend replacing the fluid and filter every 15,000 with no need to "flush" the transmission. If you have exceeded the 15,000 then I would recommend flushing the converter and then every 15,000 after. If you tow, climb a lot of hills or lots of stop and go traffic, then I would recommend flushing the torque converter.
I see a lot of dead transmissions @ 60k with the so called Lifetime fluid and the fluid is oxidated @ 30k, it is a tough sell to get the owner to change it @ 30k when the fluid is 30.00 litre but a 6k + tranny @ 60k can change their mind. So, pay a little extra for the Mopar fluid every 15K. Also, I would recommend you only use a MoPar filter!!!
