Default Cruiser Crash Design
Yesterday, in front of where I work, a PT rear ended a SUV import. It was a rainy morning and the road is a four lane, 55 MPH highway. I'm not certain what model the SUV was, looked like one of the new generic "performance" SUV's like Lexus maybe or BMW. It was a pretty bad accident, with firetrucks and ambulances responding. I don't believe fortunately that anyone was hurt. From what I could see, the SUV's rear end was pushed almost up to the back seat. The PT's front end still looked largely unchanged. (The hood was a little buckled and one quarter panel was slightly modified). If I had any doubt of the Cruiser's safety, I don't now!
