Advice
I need some advice please.
I just got my new PT and have a vibration that starts at 100 kilometres an hour on a smooth highway. It starts vibrating through the steering wheel at 100 then at 110 a rolling thrumming sound seems to start in the PT's body. The dealer refused to test it at anything over 90...because he said the highway outside the shop is rated at 80 max..he did re-balance all 4 tires and indicated one was suspect..then told me it was Goodyears problem. They told me to take it to a Goodyear dealer. Goodyear dealer said Chrysler mech balanced the tires badly and again re-balanced all 4 tires and stated car was smooth up to 100 klicks..damn the vibration is still there starting at 100KPH as I drive the 400 series hwys to work my hwy speed is always around 110. This is a brand new PT and I am starting to hate it.Please don't tell me all PT's do this.
I suspect a bad belt in one tire but both the dealer and Goodyear refuse to acknowledge a problem.
Any idea's please?
