Gonzomania,

You are trying to use the Volant intake on a 2002 1/2 and up PT. The kit was meant to be used on 2001 and some 2002 PTs that had the PCV line that emptied into the rubber intake tube after the stock filter box. You need to make sure that one of the two holes on the Volant intake tube is plugged (the lower hole that is out of sight). The PCV line can be capped with a small gauze filter (K&N type) like those used for breathers.

Depending on where you live and the local emissions laws, this may be an acceptable route. If not, you could extend the PCV line to the aforementioned plugged hole to tie the PCV line into the intake system and remain "emissions legal." However, I would highly recommend a catch can (a simple portable air compressor water separator will suffice) to catch the oil vapor before it enters the throttle body.

BTW, did you get the kit from "02Cruizer?"
