Agree w/SuGamer. Just getting better wires puts you better off tahn stock, which don't last.
If you consider irridium, I'd stay away from the ones that don't have same reach as stock and require a ground-down socket to install - my $.02.
Don't understand why, but platinum isn't recommended for turbos. I put Champion double platinum in mine and just replaced them after 50,000 miles of use - the old ones looked perfect when I took tehm out.
