That is correct.
The cylinder pressures and additional heat generated by forced induction can blow out the spark, causing misfires.
Copper plugs are the best for heat dissipation.

For high boost, use copper plugs and a tighter plug gap.
MX-5, what do you think about the NGK iridium spark plugs? Others have said good things about them, but what's you opinion?
