Here's mine.
I've had mine for over a year with no problems. I empty it once a week. I would not put it over the turbo heat shield. The bowl is plastic and would melt.....Sugamer, I've had a Greddy catch can at one time and now the Campbell Hausfeld catch can installed for over 18 months and I've collected and stopped 25 ounces of oil from getting into my intake manifold. You might consider getting one.
