Chromed, first disconnect your battery so you don't get a code. The IAT sensor is the sensor that is on the air intake hose, like you said. Pull up the red tab, and look at it real good. You should be able to lift (with your nail) towards you the tab that clip the sensor to it's housing and pull it out. Next bend the resistor into a U shape and insert it into the sensor's harness plug. Once you see the harness, you'll know what I mean. Then wrap it up with electrical tape so it won't fall out. Hang the harness on one of the bolt of the PCM, and viola! You're done. Oops! Don't forget to reconnect the battery! []
