Cal, I share your pain, but it won't be the first scratch. Lanka I have not had cuccess with. Here is what you are up against. YOu will need to have someone buff the section, perhaps even wet sand. I had a car in the other day with a pretty deep scratch. I had to wet sand first, to even or level out the paint on the walls of the scratch. Then I used a buffer, with compound which did some leveling also. Went to a mild cleaner compound to restore the shine, then glaze, then polish, then sealed. You can see many steps are involved. the end result was huge improvement, but still noticeable within a foot or so. Save yourself headache and find a reputable detailer, have him do it right. Blending paint that is a line, rather than a chip, is difficult even for a pro. sometimes you will draw more attention to it by painting more so than going through the steps I listed. call me if you need moral support 630 947 2090 Gary
