Bob,

Do you really have a tool that will tell you that your gap is either .040in or .042in ? If you do, split the difference and gap it at .041in....your engine won't know the difference.

Most tools have a setting for exactly .040in and that seems to be the consensus of what most of the Turbo PT's are being gapped at. There was a TBS for the Non-Turbo to set them at .045in
