If you really want to do it right, get good snow tires and wheels for the winter. See
http://www.tirerack.com/index.jsp and check out the section on snow tires. Bolt pattern is the same, and overall diameter SHOULD stay the same if you pay attention to that info about the tires, so there will be no significant effect on spedo/odo.
