That's a nice grill with a great look. It looks as though the upper grill replaces the stock one but the lower grill overlays the stock grill (as many of these do).
I ask because my Cruiser is Cool Vanilla, almost white, and would show through a lot more than yours does. Does the E&G lower grill need to attach to the stock cross pieces so they can't be cut away? Or do they need to remain and and maybe be "blacked out"?
I've seen lots of pictures in all the sigs and your PT is one of the few that I will pause to look at every time. Go slow with your mods. My impression of your PT is that it has a "finished" look already and adding much more will be like hanging rinestones on a diamond.
All that aside, you seem to be having a great time and that's a good thing.

WOW!! Great advice! The lower part of the two piece grill is a separate grill that fits over the stock one but not an overlay per-say and does need the stock one underneath to screw the bottom grill to.. I am going to take it off, tape it off around the stock part and paint it black so you can't see the vertical bars of the stock grill. I've heard of people painting them, taping, and or using Vinyl. Thanks for the kind words obout my Cruiser, it's always nice to hear such things about something that you have put a lot of time and money into. And it is FUN< FUN< FUN!!
