There is a large percentage of people who treat shops and mechanics like mall stores. Whoever has the best price that week gets their business. A smaller percentage realize that it's better to treat them like a doctor, contractor or other professional. Find a good honest shop and USE THEM! A few dollars here will be made up when they know the car, your driving habits, and there is mutual respect. They will be more willing to go the extra mile and do the little extras. It will be a less stressful experience for the customer, too.
