I'll bring this back up.
When you say that you took off the front cowl, what exactly do you mean? How did you get to the washer motor assembly? Through the passenger compartment or through the area at the bottom of the windshield under the wipers or through the engine compartment?
Any help is appreciated, I have the same rattle and it's driving me nuts.
On a similar rattle note, any ideas what the rattle is from the rear when I'm driving down bumpy roads? I suspect something to do with the exhaust, but haven't looked at it yet. It's an '04 GT if it makes a difference.
