I've had Eibachs for 6 months now without a hitch (stock exhaust). The only second thought that crossed my mind was going lower. See
http://www.ptcruiserparts.com/Suspension/Lowering_kits/ for options. I'd like to drop the rear some more to remove the rake thereby balancing wheelwell fill. Eibach goes 2" but my opinion says 2.5" is the perfect sit.
