I have installed(with friends) 5 sets of under-car LED's, and with each install we've learned more and gotten faster. We use jack stands and creepers. Some recommendations:

Layout and test operation before install, including sequence desired
Use titanium drill bits;use stainless steel or zinc coated screws
Place screw through undercar lip into lightholes (only screws show) Drill hole (1") under steering wheel thru clutch plate for wires
Simple power source is positive battery jump post. I used screws for all lights(not ties) Run wires undercar thru openings in underframe and tie where necessary. Keep ligthts away from muffler and exhaust(can melt light tubes)Control box, switches etc. can be easily hung/hidden inside panel under steering wheel. We mounted some switches on side of steering wheel column cover. PT4U2C
