A few years ago I had a Dodge Ram that was all tricked out like a show truck and I didn't want to have the front plate on the bumper. The color was an emerald green, sort of dark. I happened to have some soft, black rubber plugs with 3/8" mushroom shaped heads in my coffee can of odds and ends. I shoved those in the holes and was quite happy with how they looked.
