In reading about plans for the "2nd generation" PT Cruiser they have said close to the same thing being discussed here. When the PT Cruiser was originally designed, the intent was to attract a younger demographic to the chrysler line. What happened was the opposite, with the majority of PT owners being from an older generation, than that to which the PT was originally intended. That was one of the arguments used for not creating a Gen 2 cruiser. Regardless I am 27, and love the cruiser. I like the modern day gangster appeal of it. I also love the 220 horse. I dont give a damn who else drives the car, or who it appeals to. I like it, I drive it. 'nuff said.
