The installation is basically the same as the Hurst shifter, minus the shifter collar stop.

You don't have to remove the cables from the shifter bracket. Just from the shifter itself.

Also buy some good grease to liberally lube up everything. Would suggest buying booger bushings, http://www.boogerracing.com/ , and replace the OEM bushings while you have everything apart. Booger Bushings will take out all the mushy shifting feel or flex and last a lot longer too.
