No it is not. Chrysler has made a hemi engine since the 426. There are some that are similar, but not a hemi. And NO none of that new crap they have out, is an actual hemi. Dont believe the hype. A hemi engine COULD NOT conform to emission standards today.
The PT cruiser has a Pent Roof head.
Pent roof heads are very similar to hemi, but not the same. Not that it matters. Because the 4valve pent roof heads are far superior to the hemi heads anyway( alot more airflow, better quench, ect..).
