I've noticed that local news stories frequently show PT Cruisers. It's not just that I notice them more, it's that the editors would rather show a Cruiser than a hyundai or isuzu or whatever.
It makes whatever they're talking about seem more interesting when a pretty girl or pretty car is in the picture.
