If you run the NGK plugs either the #4306 (lztr5a-13)copper or #2315(lztr6aix-13) iridium which are 2 heat ranges cooler than stock you will be ok. The stock plugs will burn up and ceramic around the electrode will crack and fall into the engine. The dealer replaced 2 sets of stock plugs in my car and plug wires in the first 7,500 miles.I now run the iridium NGK plugs with a smooth idle and smooth to red line.I gapped the plugs @.045 to .047, some SRT guys gap around .035, but that didn't work well in the PT.
