I am almost 100% sure that is the problem. You can do this: Jack the car up on the passenger side and take the front wheel off (use a jack stand for safety). Then have someone start the car, put it into drive and gently release their foot from the brake. This will cause the disk to turn (just as if you were in motion) and upon acceleration, check to see if the motor swings to the front portion of the car. If it does, you have the same problem I do.
