The body shop's estimate to fix my Cruiser is $4700. The guy's insurance company said they would only pay $3500 & the body shop HAS to do the repairs within that budget. Is this a normal practice or should I fight to have my Cruiser fixed the way it should be fixed, as close to perfect as possible? If anyone has been in this same predicament any information would be great. I'm starting to get a little bit upset.[xx(] It's not my fault their client hit me. They should fix it right, right!!?
They should fix it BUT their insurance may be giving you a figure from another body shop... They need to show you where you can get it fixed for that price, otherwise they should meet the $4700. You might want to call you ins co and have them get involved (it is in their best interests).
