Hey everyone. Thanks for all the input. I spoke with the body shop today & he said their first estimate is always higher than the insurance's estimate. I guess they do that to see if the insurance company will just pay their amount. Basically the only difference is that the insurance said to repair & refinish the front passenger door instead of replacing & refinishing as in the body shop's estimate.
The body shop said I would not be able to tell the difference. It WILL be as good as new. They are going to replace the rear door & they basically have to repaint the whole passenger side so the paint will blend well. Even the parts that weren't damaged like the front fender. They are going to replace my rim & get me a new tire.
I just hope my Cruiser doesn't smell like paint inside or have a lot of over spray on it. That will make me very mad.
