I have tried what I think is the EDTIP but it doesn't help. The PCM gets wise after about 20 miles. I disconnected the vac line running from the UCP to TIP sil. and unplugged the vac line into the TIP sensor. Is this the correct way to do it? If it is, then DC programmed the 05 PCM to detect it and throw a code. I have even tried using stock boost and EDTIP and got the same results. Did this just to see if the PCM recongnized the dissconnected sil and sensor lines and it did throw a code. Any thoughts... Sorry to thread jack.

Naw buddy, close but not exact! Disconnect the vac line from the UCP and stuff a heavy ball bearing into it so no air can get into it, and the vac will seal it further by sucking it in. The trick is to not let the TIP sensor get any pressure reading. Then put a cap on the UCP where you took off the vac line and use a tie wrap, zip tie, whatever you want to call it, to hold it in and not get blown out by the pressure. Make sure you disconnect the battery when you do so, so you can reset the PCM. Let me know how it works out for you.
