Well, I can answer my own question now. Yes, my trans-axle was replaced under the 7/70 portion of the powertrain warranty. Stage 1 was in place along with an Airaid CAI and hyperground. Other than aftermarket wheels with 225/45/17 tires, everything else was stock (I had reinstalled the stock exhaust and stock turbo to airbox pipe some time ago). At first, they told me that the trans-axle would be rebuilt unless the rebuild cost exceeded 70% of a new one. Apparently it did, so I got a new one at a cost of $100 for the deductible and $180 for a rental vehicle for six days. I got great service from my Dodge/Chrysler dealer.

Where in TX do you live, which dealer did you use and at what mileage did you tranny give up the ghost? I have the Stage 1 and my tranny has been doing some strange things recently. If you're in the Houston area I may have to use your dealer soon. Thanks, Steve
