In NYC I see 99% of the PT owners are from the age of 40-60. All of them very warm and friendly people...mostly lossing hair or have lost all of them(i'm on that path too...its all in the gene  In very rare occasion do I see some younger people in my age group driving a PT.
I think most younger kids/adults are into the Impreza,Evo, and Z trend these days. I don't blame them just test drive one of these car and u'll see the light... I also have an Impreza(with my own $$$ too) but my father takes that car to work every chance he gets and since it makes him happy driving that thing than the PT I'm OK with that but I just wish he would stick to a car that's in his age group and the car he originally want me to get for him. 
I like to add that I have people coming up to me and say you don't look like the type that would drive a PT[:0] and my father getting stopped by young cops in the impreza thinking his a young punk in a fast car but seeing him in it they started talking to him like " OH sir sorry you can go now " [|)]

Wow, what does "stick to a car that's in his age group" mean? I'm 54 and I drive an '05 SRT-4 and love it. I happen to like fast cars and so does your father. My previous car was an '03 PT GT that ran in the high 13's/low 14's. I probably get hassled less in my SRT-4 because I'm not a young kid driving it. That's a good thing. Just because we've got a few more years on you 20 somethings doesn't mean we will pack it up and drive cars that are "in our age group", whatever that means. Be happy your dad takes an interest in your car(s) and likes to live a little. [?]
