The theory works the application does not, If you could get that swirl effect in the head...yes you will increase hp and mpg...however swirling the air anywhere up stream of the head is worthless.

Agreed, but "twisting air" or inducing tumble in the combustion chamber is a completely different thing than twisting air BEFORE the throttle plate or in the intake port. Also, any add-on that 'works' or increases power in both EFI (dry flow) and carb or TBI (wet flow) applications is suspect.
