Why don't you back up all your diarrea and measure the air temp @ the manifold, you know the air that enters the engine, with and without the so-called cold air intakes.
Again, I never said a colder air charge would not help produce more power only that the engine won't ever see your so-called cold dense air charge.
How cold is cold? You make it sound as if these cold air intakes are drawing in 0 degree air from some magical place.
Outside air is outside air and the stock air box with a tube running from the brake duct area isn't going to be significant enough (compared to the stock box) to actually reach the cylinder after traveling through the hot turbo, down through the hot inlet pipe to the IC , through the IC where it actually cools the air charge, up through the hot IC outlet pipe, through the hot t-body and finally through the hot intake to the cylinders.
