Anyone woundering about tire and wheel combos should pick up a Street Rodder type magazine. These cars are so totally dialed in for these combinations, and how a car should "sit". Even on fat-fendered late forties cars, and the late 30's models..no one..uses 20" tires and wheels on the front. These cars are much larger than a PT, and the wheel well openings are larger, also..but the largest diameter wheel you'll find up front is an eighteen, with 20's in the back. Most street rodders use a combination of 16's and 17's..or 17's and 18's..lower it down, and it looks just right. We can learn a lot from street rodders.
