Just returned from the dealer where I drove an Onyx Green GT, all the bells and whistles. Nice, a little exhaust tone, the engine seemed quieter that my 2002 Limited, (might be the test drive excitement). Seats hold you in place better, the auto stick is FUN, barked a tire in first gear unintentionally, definitely more horses. Love the 17" wheels.
Back to the table for numbers. First round: 25,450 + 1,000 market adjustment for the GT and 15,000 for my 2002 with 10,500 miles in perfect condition with a few mild mods. Difference: 11,450. Second round: 25,150 no market adjustment for the GT and 16,000 for my Limited. Difference 9,150. T thanked them and went back to the office.
I guess I can buy 17" wheels, make an exhaust noise in my throat when I take off and leave the wife at home to get better acceleration. But still, it's the intoxication of horsepower. What do you guys think?
