ok, so I'm reviving an old topic.....for those who want a town, not even a small city...just enough shopping to get what you need..Wally world, grocery stores,Home Depot, Chilis', Outback and your menagerie of other stuff...plus scenery, 1 snowfall a year at most, outdoor activities, winters in the 50/60's, summers that may hit 100' 5 days a year...check Sierra Vista, Arizona. And a very active car community too. About 20 miles from the border(can we say minutemen?)yet you will probaly see more Philipinos', Germans and other assorted military wives at the store than Mexican descent people. Home of Fort Huachuca, Army Intelligence. 5,000 ft elevation with the Thunder Mountains reaching over 7,000 ft at the edge of town.
