The melts around the arm rest seem to be the hardest part for me. They look good straight on, but looking from the top you see a lot of the thin part. You dont see any of the cuts but would like to sink it in deeper. How about you?
You mean on the doors? No, I got the welt to go pretty far in the slit. Before I did it, I took a small screwdriver and dug into the slip to make it as deep as I could. I had to do that on the visors also to open the slit up as much as possible before putting the welt on.
I hope all this posting helps other folks

My best tool has been a butter knife, suggested fom another WELT person, but slid and not twist. Draped welt over the knife and slid it along a bit at a time pushing the welt in. This worked even better in the cargo area where it is very tight around the window.
