Thats a definite. Still happens sometimes with iridiums too though. The stock exhaust system is great at hiding it because can't hear the misfires and pops in the exhaust from the unburnt fuel. So, an aftermarket exhaust would really be the only audible way to tell while you were driving. I didn't know it was happening until a friend told me when i passed him on the street at wide open throttle and this was before i put my downpipe and exhaust on. [:0] Told me is sound like the car was spitting up on itself and sounded nasty. [V]
