From all that I have heard and read "double platinium" spark plugs (at least Champions) do not work well with turbos, however, they are great for N/A engines. I continue to use Champion Copper Plus plugs gapped to .040 with great success. Magnecor competition ignition cables were also recently installed on my "S1" turbo car and I couldn't be happier with the "total result"--continued awesome performance [8)] and great highway gas mileage.
Thats what worries me. The instructions that come with the Stage 1 upgrade kit say to use the NGK PLZTR5A plugs. When I researched that number it said they were the double platiniums. Why would they specify platiniums when supposedly they don't work well with turbo engines. The LZTR5A plugs are the normal plugs. So I guess I will find out soon. Hope the Chrysler engineers didn't make a typo error......Mike[/quote]
