Balancing is most likely culprit. If you still had the Good-for-a-Year tires, I'd suspect them as well. Go for a balance and see, then follow the other steps.
Unless you regularly drive along railroad tracks or do braille driving, at 38,000 miles you shouldn't have major problems.
