My story,

I was driving in Arroyo Grande (i live on the california central coast) and was heading up the main highway that goes through the "village". I got on the highway 101 and starting heading north, i got up the on ramp, all this time an San Luis Obispo County Sherrif behind me. I keep it right at 60mph on the free way and he goes around me and we contine along with me right behind him, i we are comeing up to another on ramp, and a car is comeing on, so i did not want to deal with letting him in, and i am doing 55 becuase i am paranoid, and so i figure the speed limit is 70 i can hit it and he will fall in behind me, so i take it out of 5th into 3rd, and the pt rockets up to 70 (the reason i love a manual transmission) and the car slides in behind me and i go back to 60 right behind this cop, (if front of me) turns on his lights and pulls to the shoulder, and then gets right behind me. By now i am using every curse word in the book, and shuts off the lights. And follows me all the way into morro bay (about 15 miles away). ALL the way up to my street..... WTF i keep telling myself, so i decided to see if he was following me.. i make a few starange and abrupt turns driving around like i am lost, he follows me the entire time......... I cant understand what is happening, so i drive to mc donalds about a mile or so away, and decide to park and walk in. He follows me all the way until i park. and then goes and parks across the street at burger king, so i sait in mc donalds with a soda, and then drink it and leave, i make it a priorty to go past where he was parked. He follows. Now i am half expecting a fleet of squad cars to come at me like they think i am some murder. I am having a small panic attack so i decide, because i was out for a day by my self. to head to San Luis Obispo, he follows.......ERRRR So right on the highway. i just pull over, he passes. i get behind him, and as soon as he passed a on ramp, i get on it, and flip around and head the other way... back towards morro bay...... i am 10 mins into town a morro bay police officer gets behind me and begins to follow... now i am utterly shocked..... i cant understand what is going on..i go home, and he follows al the way to my drive way, i pull in and go up to my porch and go inside, and he makes a u-turn infront of it....... never heard anything about it again.

Can somewone explain this too me please... what were they doing.... this little dance lasted an hour......
