10. "customer service" from any company that is bigger than $1 million a year.
9. Those same companies, when they think that sending out junk mail every month will make me want to do business with them. Strike that, all junk mail, spam and any other unsolicited 'marketing'. A good product and service should rise in a free market society.
8. The dummies that buy anything from these ploys. They promote the continuation of this stuff.
7. The loss of reasonably priced, reasonable quality products. Most things seem to be either low/low or high/possibly good.
6. Designer cr@p. If you feel the need to keep up with so-and-so or display your wealth, is a $2000 purse really going to impress anyone worth your envy?
5. The dumbing down of the media.
4. The push for companies to stay profitable by collecting a service fee, instead of selling it once. This drives the disposible mindset.
3. The drive to add 'features' instead of refining the product to perfection. I don't have a cell phone, due to the fact the service doesn't work 100%, yet now you can surf the net, take pictures and movies, play music and games, etc. It's a PHONE, get it?
2. The continued push to move work overseas, and relying on selling these products to become the backbone of the economy here. Our population is growing, but the trend is to less jobs.
1. The legalese imbedded in our society. Between the lawyers willing to sue over every percieved slight and companies reactivly protecting themselves from this, the average person's rights are evaporating.

The fact I'm not rich enough to have a lawyer, be able to sue all the companies, send out junk mail, buy only high priced stuff, and have an assistant to call customer service!!!!
