I think what really matters is if you bought or leased the vehicle. If you leased I would buy the Chrysler system. At least that way you won't get charged for adding 3rd party items to your leased vehicle.

If you purchased the car then you can add any system that you wish. You can get a very good 3rd party system for the price of the Chrysler one that will add power locks and shock sensors ect.

I had a CompuSTAR 2way alarm system istalled on my GT this week. The system works great. It can be installed on vehicles without power locks. You can add the needed actuators and connect them to the control module. You can even add remote window roll up and/or sunroof if you want.

It also has dual stage shock sensors, remote start, Auto arm/lock...(and a bunch of goodies I haven't figured out yet) All with a quarter mile range.
